Our CHILDREN'S MINISTRY strives to guide your children in developing the foundations of their own faith. We try to provide them with opportunities throughout the year to accomplish that goal. Besides our Bible-based Sunday School classes and children's choir, we have a strong AWANA program. Together, we can make a difference in a child's life.
SUNDAY SCHOOL . . . The purpose of Sunday School is to lay a strong Biblical foundation for children, while encouraging them to become regularly involved in church. Through Sunday School, children are better able to understand and apply scripture to their lives. |

| CHILDREN'S CHURCH . . . The purpose of children’s church is to provide a time for children ages pre-kindergarten to 4th grade to learn the basics of our faith through stories, games, and crafts related to a particular biblical theme. We have separate programs for our 1st through 4 graders and our Pre-Kindergarten through 1st grade. While their parents are in the worship service, our leaders work with the children and encourage them to learn more about God’s Word and His love for them. The older children exit the worship service as a group during the offering and the younger ones stay in the children's building after Sunday School for their program. Parents pick them up all the children immediately following the service. |

CHILDREN'S CHOIR . . . Goals for the Children’s Choirs are to train in worship, to be a part of a religious education program and to develop children’s musical abilities. Throughout the year, they have the opportunity to take part in musicals and sing during the worship service.

GOOD NEWS CLUB . . . This program is a weekly after school, evangelical community outreach for 1st through 4th graders who attend Chambers Elementary School in our neighborhood. The program is led by teachers who are trained by Child Evangelism Fellowship. These children are encouraged to stay afterwards for Big Fish and Awanas.
BIG FISH . . . This is a time where volunteers help children with their homework and provide a light supper before our Awana program begins. It provides a bridge between Good News Club and Awanas, giving children in the Good News Club, who might not otherwise come to our church, an opportunity to attend our children's activities.
AWANA CLUB . . . is a Bible-centered program built around a weekly evening meeting. A club meeting consists of Game Time, Handbook Time, and Council Time. Our staff is trained throughout the year to work with children and to provide a loving and secure environment that children will enjoy. |
KARATE CLUB . . . A program designed to teach children (and some adults) the discipline of karate as well as train them in the teachings of the Bible and how to reach out to their school friends, family, and neighbors with the love of Christ. Teachers are certified in karate. A parental release is required.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL . . . is held each summer in June and is free to ages 4 through 6th grade.
