On June 8, 2013 join us at Wilcrest Baptist Church for a Recreational Outreach Day. Come enjoy food Soccer games ,3 on 3 basketball tournaments ,Bounce Houses, Rock Wall, Slip in Slides, BBQ, Music, Fellowship.

Also come learn about our summer ministry opportunities such as Soccer Academy, ESL and VBS. Everyone is invited to this community "block party" to learn about ministry and have fun!!!

Join the action with Investigation Destination, where students become secret agents sent out on important missions to discover clues about a special person, the King of Kings. Come join the fun for exciting bible stories, crafts, games, and snacks. From grades Kinder-6th grade. June 17-21, 6:30-8:30pm. Registration sheets are in the foyer.

Mission Centers of Houston: On June 24th-27th Wilcrest will be going on a local mission trip partnering with Fletcher Mission Center in downtown Houston. During this week we will reside at the center and engage in ministries such as kids club, ESL, working in clothing closets, serving the neighborhood and much more. If you would like to participate in this trip please fill out the form located on the Missions Table and return to Kurt. The cost is $75 and anyone ages 16 and above can apply.

Does your child love soccer? Are they between the ages of 6-13? Then sign up for our Soccer Academy Summer Program 2013.

Pastor Jonathan will be leading a men's devotion and prayer every Wednesday morning from 9-10 a.m. at Wilcrest. If you bring your Bible, he'll bring you breakfast and coffee. All men are invited.

Young Adult Bible Study . . . Kurt Freeman will be leading a Bible study for college students and young adults, The Bible study will be held every Wednesday evening from 6:30-7:45pm at Wilcrest Baptist Church. Please contact Kurt Freeman via email at kurt@wilcrestbaptist.org for details.

Bridge night is a new game night for adults of all ages where we foster an opportunity to rekindle lost relationships through the fun of tabletop gaming.

There was once a time when stories, laughter and wisdom were shared between opponents over a lengthy game of Parcheesi. It was a time to relax and renew without having a care in the world for at least a short time. For many this was a time when kids spent time with their grandparents and received a level of love and attention unparalleled by any other. For others, it was a time for like-minded friends to affirm one another in their experiences.

This ministry is geared toward reuniting adults of all ages to revisit these times and share a couple of hours of trivia-spouting, domino-tipping, battleship-sinking fun!

And here is the best part: YOU get to bring YOUR favorite games! There is bound to be someone else who has derived the same endless joy out of Settlers of Catan as you have, or someone who still geeks out over Star Wars Monopoly!

If you can bring it, we can play it! Bridge night is a chance for you to replay some fond memories of your past or, better yet, make some new ones! See you there!
